MintoE is the name by which we refer to the All Saints' Ministry to the Elderly.
MintoE organizes a range of activities both one-offs and regularly that enable older people to come close to God and to share fellowship with others of the same age and experiences. Some of the regular events are listed here.
On a Tuesday morning at 11.00am there is a short service of Holy Communion. The service is open to all but is a favourite of many elderly members of the community.
The service is followed by refreshments.
Transport by minibus is available for those who need help getting to the Church centre.
is held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of a month. It's a chance to get creative with friends (alternates with Indoor Games). Everybody is welcome to come along.
On the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month (2.00pm) we have Indoor Games. OK, it's not the Olympics, but we have great fun and anyone is free to join in.
Activities include indoor bowls, Kurling and Boccia (similar to indoor bowls) and are aimed at older members of the community.
Refreshments are served during the afternoon.
Thursday Club meets at 2.30pm in the Church Hall and is a great way for seniors to share time and friendship with others from around the area.
Some of the activities include Outings, Guest Speakers, Games and Musical afternoons.
The afternoon's activties are organised by Chris Milner (pictured) and a team of volunteers and anyone is welcome to join in.
The Current Programme lists the activities currently in plan.
Transport is available on our Church minibus to this event.
MintoE also arranges a number of one-off events including;
- An Annual Christmas Party
- Frequent links with Thorpe House
- Links with older people from other Churches
