ANDY STANTON

Andy is one of our 2 Churchwardens. He was elected to the role in 2024. Andy has been a  member of the Church

since 1992.He is married to Philippa and they have two grown-up sons.

MARK GREEN

Mark was elected as Churchwarden in 2022. He is married to Jill, they have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. They became members of
the church about 28 years ago, when they came to Loughborough. Mark is a retired Physics teacher and has a love of board games and poems.

JENNY

Jenny is a Pastoral Assistant and Lay Reader at Thorpe Acre and as part of her role, Jenny helps in many areas to support the needs of the people in the Parish. Jenny, a retired teacher, often takes funeral services at the Church and is also an integral part of the funfish team.

VANESSA

Vanessa says "It is a great joy to join the team at Thorpe Acre All Saints as a Lay Reader. My journey as a Christian began over 33 years ago in this same church. I became a Christian here and have felt it right to remain here, both as a member of the church family and in the community, with my husband Colin and two adult children, Matthew and Kathryn.

JULIE

Julie was licensed as Lay Minister in March 2023 and has a passion for working in the community, particularly alongside children
and young families.

ANDREA

Andrea has been a Lay Reader for a number of years and in a number of Churches in the Leicester Diocese.

COLIN

Colin is the head of the treasury team at Thorpe Acre Church and the person to speak with if you wish to arrange regular donations to the Church.

CHRIS

Chris has been the Church Administrator since 1996. She is married to David and they both hail from Yorkshire where they met whilst still at school. They have 3 children and now as Grandparents find weekends are often spent visiting family. They also like to travel.During the week Chris also runs the Games afternoon and Mintoe’s Thursday Club.
